True story: the day I wrote this song, I got pulled over by a cop. Before he came to my window I started reaching for my driver's license, registration, etc. When I look up, he had a gun pointed at me telling me to put my hands in the air. I told him I had no weapons, I was just looking for my stuff. That's the story that inspired the song. I wanted to end the album on this note as a way of reminding myself and others that we're still targets in this society. As long as racism and ignorance persist, there will still be situations like what happened to me (or worse). Let's kill that shit, ya'll.
